TJFI S.à r.l. is a Luxembourg company, incorporated in June 2023 and registered with the Luxembourg trade register under B278236, with its office on Boulevard Royal in Luxembourg City. We work on a limited number of enquiries at a time because verification is slow and cannot be delegated.
What circulates in physical commodities is rarely supply. It is paperwork: offers passed from one mailbox to the next, quantities nobody can load, discounts nobody could fund. A buyer with a real requirement spends more time discarding those than negotiating.
TJFI was built for the other side of that problem. We do not add ourselves to a chain. We work with one identified party on each side, we check what each of them can prove, and we introduce them to each other. When we cannot verify a counterparty, we say so and the enquiry ends there.
Taking a principal position would change what we are able to say. As long as we do not own the cargo, we have no reason to talk a buyer into a grade that does not suit them.
Physical trade is not a career you pick from a brochure. It is learned by watching how a cargo is put together, how a counterparty is judged, and how a deal is lost. Thibault Jabbour grew up around that. The family has been engaged in physical commodity trade, and the working habits that came with it are the ones TJFI is built on.
Those habits are unglamorous. You go to the plant. You ask who owns the goods and you keep asking until someone shows you. You take the word of a bank over the word of a broker. You accept that most conversations lead nowhere, and you do not make up the difference with optimism.
That inheritance is a way of working, not a guarantee. Every counterparty TJFI presents is verified on its own documents, and nothing in this history substitutes for that check.
A cargo does not care who your father was. It moves when the paperwork is real.
These are not promises about the market. They are constraints on us, and a counterparty is entitled to hold us to them.
One product, one destination, one delivery window. That is enough for us to tell you whether we can help.
